Bonphul to launch India’s first residential AHUs

To liberate the stale and stagnant indoor air from the confines of modern residential buildings, Bonphul Air Products is launching the VentiMax range of Air Handling Units (AHU) solutions, by mid-December. Bonphul is the first company in India with a dedicated range of AHUs that will serve the ventilation requirements of Indian residents.

Stale air is a humongous IAQ problem in most indoor space, given to lack of fresh air circulation inside four walls that results in accumulation of varied indoor air pollutants like VOCs, microorganisms, soot, smoke, mould spores, to name a few, in high concentration levels. Lack of fresh air indoors also creates imbalance in oxygen and carbon dioxide level in the air – with the former depleting at a fast pace making more room for the latter.

VentiMax AHUs will be taking care of heat exchange ventilation and purification of air in three distinct mountable models, – VentiMax Vienna (ceiling), VentiMax Florence (wall) and VentiMax Hamburg (floor). VentiMax range will also have de-humidification, cross-counterflow heat exchange, uni-directional and bi-directional flow ventilators, with HEPA and electrostatic purification filters in some of its models.

In India, ventilation of air indoors was mostly taken care by traditional methods of opening windows and with exhaust fans. However, as most buildings today are energy-efficient, letting in outdoor air inside is no more an option as it disturbs the maintained indoor temperature and also as the outdoor air today is highly polluted. This has brought in the need for AHUs in residential and commercial buildings, as AHUs help in saving both energy and costs as well as keep the indoors free from stale air and accumulation of pollutants.

On the upcoming launch, Prodyut Bora, CEO, Bonphul Air Products comments, “As more and more residential and public buildings are installing HVAC systems to maintain temperature, demands for fresh air requirement is also going up. We understand the IAQ problems of Indian homes very well and are efficiently equipped to address it. VentiMax will surely help elevate Bonphul’s identity as India’s first comprehensive IAQ solutions and service company.”

Globally, the AHU market is projected to reach USD 12.91 Billion by 2026, at a CAGR of 5.7% from 2016 to 2026.
